Forgiving and changing our mind is not about having a better body, one that will never be sick or feel pain. But it serves no purpose at all for us to be sick or have pain while we are making the transition from guilt to innocence in our thinking. The trick, as always, is to stay clear about our intention; to stay in the Presence of our real, unconflicted Self and the movement to Truth that is there.

While believing that our mind and our body are connected— partners in who we are—whatever upset is in our mind will show up in our body. There are primarily three things we can do to change our mind about having a need for that partnership:
